Functie omschrijving

As an all-round mechanic, you are one of the most important links within Valvoline. Complex and unique installations are used in the factory. You handle the usual troubleshooting, overhaul, and maintenance work. In doing so, you take machine safety into account (Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out) and take care of administrative processing and reporting.

In the spirit of ‘measuring is knowing’, you perform analyses. With your analytical eye, you initiate improvements where possible and implement them.

You will work within the technical department of Valvoline Dordrecht. The technical department is responsible for carrying out corrective and planned preventive maintenance on all assets at the site. In addition, the technical department plays a central role in the execution of all investment and maintenance projects, as well as modifications.

Functie eisen

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a Millwright or as an Electrician with mechanical experience within a production/blending company;
• A strong affinity with the dynamics of a complex factory environment;
• Assertive and results-oriented, with the ability to generate new ideas and actively drive them forward;
• Persistent mindset, continuing until the optimal result is achieved;
• Flexible and able to switch quickly between tasks while supporting colleagues where needed;
• Solution-oriented approach, ranging from simple fixes to innovative improvements, with a focus on ensuring reliable production continuity;
• Responsible for maintaining fault reports;
• You're experienced in preventive maintenance and fixing breakdowns;
• You are living within the Netherlands or are willing to move to the Netherlands. (We take care of relocation and housing);

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Monthly salary: €3,050 – €4,500;
• 8% holiday allowance;
• 13th month salary;
• €0.21 net per kilometer (up to 60 km per day);
• 28 vacation days;
• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
