Allround Maintenance Technician

The role

As a allround maintenance technician you are responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a modern chemical production plant. You perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and ensure production equipment remains operational with minimal downtime.The production process involves mixing and heating base oils and additives in large reactors at temperatures of up to 200°C before the grease is cooled and transferred to the filling lines. Because a wide variety of products is manufactured, every day presents new technical challenges.

Besides maintenance and repairs, you contribute to technical improvements and modifications. Working both independently and as part of a small maintenance team, you take ownership of breakdowns and continuously improve the reliability of the production process.

What you bring

You are a Red Seal qualified Electrical or Mechanical Technician with experience in industrial maintenance or breakdown services. You enjoy troubleshooting complex machinery and have experience with both electrical and mechanical systems. You are independent, practical, solution-oriented and capable of taking ownership of technical issues. Working in a 2-shift system and adapting to a dynamic production environment suits you well.
