About the role
As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance activities. You troubleshoot malfunctions in production lines and utilities, perform preventive maintenance, and support equipment upgrades and installations.
Your work helps ensure that production can continue without technical disruptions and always meets the highest quality and safety standards. You’ll be part of a dedicated technical team working in shifts (2-shift, 3-shift, or evening shift depending on location and role).
Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues with machinery and installations

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Support the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment

Maintain accurate documentation, including machine schematics and maintenance logs

Collaborate with operators and support root cause analysis

Monitor safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance during all technical work

Guide external technicians on-site to ensure smooth and safe operations
What do you bring

A completed Red Seal qualification as an Electrician, Millwright, or Mechanical Fitter

Solid hands-on experience in technical maintenance within an industrial environment (preferably food or packaging)

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under time pressure

Experience with both mechanical and electrical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, etc.)

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

Good command of English (Dutch is not required)

Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands: full relocation support is available via the Highly Skilled Migrant Program
